with the Lightweight Container range.
The Lightweight Containers with Dyneema *
fibre composite boards fulfill customers`
requirements since their first introduction in 2008.

Weight
With the new construction grades and materials,
DoKaSch achieves a weight for an AKE/LD3
Container starting at 65 kg or 71 kg for an
AKH/LD3-45 .
This equates to a 30 % weight reduction
compared with other materials. Across all
cargo shipments, the result is an enormous
fuel saving and significantly lower CO2
emissions.
 
Robustness
The light, yet strong composite boards
guarantee minimum buckling compared
with flexible lengths of material. This
means that it can be handled without
any problems on board aircraft.
Colour
Lightweight Containers of the DYNEEMA* series are
available in all colours** based on the customers´
requirements. Any required colour is possible as
part of the airlines´ corporate design.
 
Service life
The stronger impact strength compared with
aluminum significantly increases the service life
of the lightweight container series.

Maintenance
The greater impact resistance results in
significantly less container damage. This
reduces maintenance and repair costs to
a minimum while the frequency of use of
the containers is dramatically increased.
