DoKaSch history

Combining tradition
with progress

Founded by the original shareholders Werner
Dommermuth, Heinz Peter Kaminski and
Manfred Schneider in 1989 with headquarters
in Staudt, in south-west Germany, between
Frankfurt and Cologne, DokaSch GmbH has
now developed to become one of the leading
international suppliers for standardised and
customised unit load devices (ULD).
The company had a policy of expansion from
the start. For example, the company complex
at the headquarters in Staudt quickly grew to
20,000 m² with modern office buildings and
production facilities.
In 1998, DoKaSch GmbH opened an initial
service centre at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport
directly at the airport, with a total area
of approximately 4,500 m².
In 2009, a further service centre emerged
based on the same concept at Frankfurt
Rhein-Main International Airport in the new
Kelsterbach industrial zone at the new runway
west to offer an optimum service to the
growing number of airlines at the airport hub
Frankfurt /Main.
With the foundation of the sales and marketing
unit of the company in Basel in Switzerland,
we have created particular customer proximity
to the international pharmaceutical industry.
With new product and service business units,
such as DoKaSch Leasing AG and DoKaSch
Gesellschaft für Forschung und Entwicklung mbH,
we want to pursue our expansion in every aspect of
air cargo equipment, perfectly in tune with the
changing market and customer requirements
and the development of international transport
and logistics markets.
